Feel like you have too much to do, and make a decision to do not any of it? This sends you into a strengthening overwhelm of unhelpful thoughts. And at the end of the day when you’ve talented nothing, you have only more things to put in to your to-do list. Life doesn’t discontinue and those things keep support up.
1. Make a record.
When you have those spread ideas disorder your brain, you get less done. Once it’s on document, it’s not cluttering your brain anymore. Making a list is EASY and quick, and how cool that you can un-clutter your mind with a 5-minute exercise. I back we would all do this if unattractive our house was just as easy.
2. Set a timer.
This is the best joke ever, especially when you have kids. Ever come home from work to a confused situation which stresses you out? The other day I came home and notice the house was too untidy for me to relax. I told the kids I’m setting a timer for 15 minutes to clean up and when the timer went off, we could fall everything and be done. The house went from violent to nice in 15 minutes because everyone worked hard for that short period of time.You can do this with any task. When you give yourself an exact time frame, you’re more likely to be forced to do the task within that exact time.You may be less likely to start a job if you think you have to use all day doing it.
3. Stop being a purist.
Impossible standards guaranteed stress and procrastination. Maybe we all are guilty of this sometimes.We want to be the perfect parent, spouse, friend, employee, etc. Guess what? No one is perfect and everyone makes mistakes. Stop being so hard on yourself.If your standards are achievable, you will beat yourself up for not accomplishing those impossible goals which makes for an unhappy you.Maybe you won’t even begin those tasks because you’ve set those impossible goals. Set realistic goals and realise perfection isn’t necessary.
4. Celebrate your accomplishments.
Ever think about all the things you didn’t get done at the end of the day? Feels bad right? Instead, try giving yourself a pat on the back for the awesome things you did today.
5. Visualise your success.
Attract it.If you don’t believe in yourself, no one else will either.Be confident that you will achieve all your goals.
